I finally (got help) slapping Wordpress into shape and Runaway to the Stars is now releasing as a public webcomic! Thank you so much for your support over the years, and sticking with me while I'm slowly chewing my way through this book. I'm very excited to share this story! It'll be updating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the massive Patreon backlog. Patreon will continue to update as I finish pages, which happens on a sporadic non-schedule.

If you experience bugs with the site report them to me. Some things may occasionally break, as coding problems tend to be a very "whack-a-mole" affair; and I'm still getting used to the interface.

Setting up a little terrarium that might house some isopods or something someday. :) Just getting the moss established right now, plus a few springtails to do cleanup.

(And also because i like watching them scurry around :) )

My isopods were all being really active and a little aggressive with each other today. I was really confused by it until I noticed one actively guarding a partial molted shell - and realized they'd cleaned out almost all of the eggshell I'd given them. Sprinkled in some more and they're instantly all calmly grazing on little calcium nuggets.

Also had a fun little interaction with one that happened to be hanging out near the top of the terrarium - it didn't run away when I lifted the lid, so I gently put my finger out towards it without actually touching it. It proceeded to sniff at me with its lil antennae, and I think investigate how edible my fingernail is. Didn't seem stressed by the interaction at all. It's cool to be able to non-intrusively interface with such a different creature than I am.
